An Effective Way to Change Guitar Strings

I recently changed the strings on my acoustic guitar and have been using Elixir Polyweb strings for a number of years now. They are a little pricy, but sound terrific, and last 3-5 times longer than ordinary strings.

Below is a short 3-minute video from Elixir showing you how to quickly and efficiently change the strings on a guitar.



This is a different approach than I had been using, and I found the tips discussed to be very helpful, especially the suggestion of lining up all six strings first before cutting them.
