Easy 2 Chord Strumming: C Major to G Major

Today's video guitar lesson focuses on strumming between C Major and G Major.

These two chords are seen in tons of popular songs, so it's really important to be comfortable switching between them. Practice along with the below video and focus on having each chord sound cleanly on the guitar.

This exercise uses only down strums, but once you feel confident with these two chords, you can always try a new strumming pattern. Also, you can slow down or speed up your strumming. It's also fun to try playing each of the individual strings of the chord separately.

Check it out and experiment! These notes of the chord (C Major or G Major) will sound great in any order you choose!
