This may seem like a basic tip, but I've purchased them for my guitars and placed stands in rooms I am frequently in. For example, seeing a guitar in my office is great because all I need to do is pick it up and start strumming, even if I have only 5 or 10 minutes free.
If it's easily accessible, you'll be more inclined to play. Guitar stands are very inexpensive, so if you don't have one, make sure to visit a local music shop or go online to check it out.
